Biography: Mike Ochs has a Master of Liberal Arts in International Studies (MLAIS) from Lock Haven University, 1989. He has published two international English-language bibliographies on the Greens, and attended internation Green Party conferences. He helped plant Green Party in PA and Lycoming County, where he remains a Green Party activist. Mike writes a monthly column on "religion and the environment" entitled "Creation Corner" for the newsletter of the ecumenical United Churches of Lycoming County (www.uclc.org) and is a member of the Christian Social Concerns Committee of the UCLC. He is the Chair, of the Environmental Task Force, Committee for Church in Society, Upper Susquehanna Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (www.uss-elca.org), through which he helped lead Williamsport, PA, in banning burn barrels, in 1997. He is also a member of the northcentral PA-based OUE (Organizations United for the Environment) (www.ouenews.org) and PEN (Pennsylvania Environmental Network) (www.penweb.org).



Geographic Availability: Within 50 miles of Lycoming County.

Remuneration: Usual fee $100 plus travel expenses.
