GREEN NIGHT OUT: Occupy Movement Challenges War Economy

At Green Night Out on December 3, Bob Smith, organizer of Brandywine Peace Community, discussed, "How a non-violent Occupy Movement can challenge the permanent war economy.” Smith explained to the diners that the permanent war economy dates back to Charles (“Electric Charlie”) Wilson, CEO of General Electric, who, in 1950, became the director of the Pentagon’s Office of Defense Mobilization.
